Basics of JDA Production & Sourcing Optimization - Students taking this course learn to make smarter, faster, informed decisions in areas like site selection, resource utilization, plan loads, and mode/carrier selection. Topics include modeling concepts and analysis of the key operation factors in an end-to-end supply network to achieve cost and profit optimization. Strategy students work through scenarios across your geographically-dispersed organization, take that information to executive planning sessions, and move away from days – or even weeks – to make effective, complex decisions. This course includes a three-day instructor-led workshop and a Navigation e-learning module to be taken in advance.
JDA PSO Functionality Upgrade Overview - JDA PSO is an advanced planning solution used to model a supply chain network. This course covers the key areas of new functionality within the 7.4x version. Students will discuss how the planning process has been enhanced and how to use JDA PSO to make effective business decisions. This course provides the fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience necessary for anyone that requires a high-level overview of the changes between versions 6.x and 7.4x.
Basics of JDA Inventory Policy Optimization - Students taking this course learn to determine what safety stock should be at various levels of your retail and distribution supply chains so that specified fill rates or in-stock targets can be achieved. Much of this is done by increasing the visibility of inventory throughout your multi-echelon network. Along with skills acquired from JDA Supply, you will be able to generate recommended stocking levels across your Customer-Driven Value Chain. This course includes a four-day instructor-led workshop and a Navigation e-learning module to be taken in advance.
Supply Chain Overview - Do you need a good solid foundation of what a supply chain is and the processes within the supply chain? During this one-day instructor-led workshop, participants are introduced to the components involved in successfully managing a supply chain, as well as future trends in supply chain management. This introductory course combines lecture, discussion, and exercises to expand participants’ knowledge of supply chain processes, the benefits of managing the supply chain, and the business pressures facing the supply chain today.
