Overview of Transportation (Coming Soon) - This two-hour e-learning module provides a solid introduction to the concepts behind transportation planning, logistics, and the supply chain. Given a set of orders, carriers and their rates, available equipment, and business rules, the goal of the transportation solution is to provide an optimal transportation plan which is least-cost and meets all service constraints. This e-learning module provides this foundation upon which tactical & strategic activities impact the supply chain and how this function relates to the overall goal for an organization.

Supply Chain Overview - Do you need a good solid foundation of what a supply chain is and the processes within it? During this one-day instructor-led workshop, participants are introduced to the components involved in successfully managing a supply chain, as well as future trends in supply chain management. This introductory course combines lecture, discussion, and exercises to expand participants’ knowledge of supply chain processes, the benefits of managing the supply chain, and the business pressures facing the supply chain today.

Basics of JDA Transport - This instructor-led workshop is designed to introduce the participant to a generating a cost-effective transportation while meeting customer service shipping and delivery commitments. JDA Transport automates the process of matching supply and distribution requirements to carrier resources. This workshop covers vendors, inter-facility replenishment orders, delivery orders, carriers, and optimal shipment routing. The workshop combines lecture and exercises designed to enable the participants to define and optimize a supply chain collaborative network.

JDA Transportation Functionality Upgrade - This instructor-led workshop provides the fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience necessary for anyone that requires a high-level overview of the changes between 6.x and 7.4x. This workshop includes hands-on exercises and demonstrations that provide emphasis on new features and functionality of the solution.

Basics of JDA Freight Payment - The JDA Freight Payment system allows you to easily manage the payment to your freight carriers or third-party providers for freight movements that were executed. These freight movements may have been planned by the JDA Transport planning algorithm; however, this is not a requirement. This two-day instructor-led workshop will provide the fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience necessary for using the JDA Freight Payment application. There is intensive instruction on the required data elements and the settings that allow a client to tune JDA Freight Payment to adhere to their specific business rules.

Basics of JDA Delivery Management - It is becoming increasingly important for companies to optimize planning decisions and increase customer service through real-time connectivity to suppliers. JDA Delivery Management supports this process by decreasing the time for resolving critical part shortages while also reducing the corresponding expediting and procurement costs. In this one-day instructor-led workshop students learn about the JDA Delivery Management application and how it interacts with other parts of the overall Supplier Relationship Management process. Students also learn how to navigate through the system in order to find particular purchase order and corresponding line item information. The supplier will then create shipment(s) to confirm the corresponding purchase orders from the buyer.

Basics of JDA Reporting - JDA Reporting is a web-based reporting solution which addresses an organization’s reporting requirements for their supply chain. JDA Reporting & Analytics provides increased network and trading partner visibility, consolidating key data elements that enable you to monitor and measure your company and supply chain performance. This three-day instructor-led workshop, designed for users responsible for building and using reports and queries, provides the fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience necessary for using the Reporting solution to manage and assess the health and performance of your business and the supply chain.

JDA Reporting Technical - This instructor-led workshop provides the basic knowledge required to install, configure, and administer the JDA Reporting application including application architecture. Participants also learn about the client tool named Framework Manager for metadata modeling and about the web user interfaces for authoring and viewing reports, Report Studio. Additional discussion will cover security settings and server administration. This workshop is targeted towards technical associates who are responsible for configuring the application and working with the metadata layer.

Transportation Technical Training - This two-day instructor-led workshop will provide technical knowledge and hands-on experience to assist with the installation and maintenance of the Transport applications in the client’s environment. The participant will learn about the Transport application architecture, the system requirements, and the installation and configuration of the applications. The participant will learn about the Transport processes and data loading involved with supporting the application on a regular basis. In addition, the participant will also learn about the security administration and maintenance required for the Transport applications. The course focuses on Transport; however Carrier, Freight Payment, and Monitor will also be presented in context to the solution. Participants will take the knowledge from the training and be able to start supporting the Transport application in their environment.
